I Am No One You Know

i have 20 minutes before i have to go to the library to return some books. what did i read, you ask? We Were the Mulvaneys by Joyce Carol Oates. was it good? yes...i can't say it's my favorite from her, because i think her short stories are best. I Am No One You Know was ammmazzing. it was like one really good scary movie after another. I love how she takes stories from the headlines (scary!!) and creates a story around them. she is brill-i-ant.

I also tried to read Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk (spelling?) but couldn't really get into it. I think i may have been put off by all of the porn movie titles ...he took mainstream films and dirtied up the names. it got kinda old. maybe my days as a Good Vibes worker has something to do with my lack of patience and sense of humor about it. i just thought it was annoying. and, it was no Fight Club.

Anyway, off to take the dogs to Glen Park. Apparently last night someone was shot and killed in Glen Park, but i think it was inside a house and not someone out on the street. this place is getting crazy...too much violence. take my poll. do you think the world is going crazy too?
